‘Canes look strong in first warmup game of the season
The Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball took care of Boca Raton’s Lynn University, 112-62 in the team’s first exhibition of the season, per the University of Miami Athletics website.
The win starts the season on a high note for Miami; a nice positive to build on for a Hurricanes team coming off its first losing season since 2009. The ‘Canes will try to prove the doubters wrong this season and get back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2023.
