Miami announces TV windows for early part of 2026 football schedule

Miami’s early football schedule started to take shape this week when the school announced times and TV coverage for Weeks 2, 3 and 4.

Week 2: Florida A&M at Miami, Thursday, Sept. 10, 8 p.m. ET, ACC Network.

Week 3: Miami at Wake Forest, Friday, Sept. 18, 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN.

Week 4: Central Michigan at Miami, Saturday, Sept. 26, 6:30 p.m. ET, The CW.

Kickoff windows change how fans experience a season. They affect travel, tailgates, national attention and the rhythm of a Saturday. For the team, they also remove a little uncertainty from the preparation calendar. Miami now has more of the practical structure around its September runway.

The bigger point is that the Hurricanes are entering the part of the offseason where abstract optimism starts turning into actual dates. Spring talking points fade. Summer workouts matter. The schedule becomes less of a graphic and more of a countdown.

Miami still has more important questions than TV windows. The Hurricanes need to settle roles, sharpen the offensive identity and show that the roster is ready to play cleaner football than it has in too many recent seasons. Games with clear windows give the program chances to own attention, especially if the Canes handle their business early.
